The Montreal Impact and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers played to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night.

For the third consecutive game at Saputo Stadium, the Impact goalie was named the "Setanta" player of the game. He had seven total saves in the contest.

Hassoun Camara scored his first goal of the season for the Impact (in the 53rd minute) and less than two minutes later, Strikers' Lance Laing scored the game-tying goal.

Camara said after the game, "
“We put a lot of efforts tonight and we opened the scoring at the right time.”

Impact coach Nick De Santis was happy with the effort in the first half but wanted more consistency in the second.

"We played with good intensity and with intention, we defended as a block and we recovered a lot of balls, but we were not efficient enough," said Impact head coach Nick De Santis. "We maintained a good intensity during the first 35 minutes, but I am disappointed with our performance in the second half."
