Game Recap: MLT Impact 0 - F.L. Strikers 0 Midfielder Hicham Aaboubou crosses the ball VS FLS
The Impact will leave the state of Florida ending its two-game losing streak, tying with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers 0-0 on Saturday night at Lockhart Stadium.

“Both clubs were scared to make mistakes and to take risks," Impact head coach Marc Dos Santos said after the game. "The play was more open in the second half. We had our best scoring opportunity when we hit the post. A point on the road is never a bad thing, but you need to get the win in your next home game. It will be important to win against Edmonton.”

In the 48th minute, midfielder Idriss Ech Chergui, took a point blank shot from close to the net but hit the cross bar.

Impact goalie Bill Gaudette saved 10 shots in this contest and earned his third shutout of the campaign.

As noted in my preview to this game, the Impact were without key pieces. Striker Ali Gerba was called up to the CONCACAF Gold Cup for his native Canada side and midfielder Leonardo Di Lorenzo was serving his automatic one-game suspension after he received a red card VS FC Tampa Bay last weekend.

Montreal will be home next Saturday at Saputo Stadium for a game VS FC Edmonton. Kickoff is set for 2:30pm ET.
